Robert Kuhbach is a resident of Millerton, NY. Mr. Kuhbach is a retired business executive, who most recently served as a director and Chair of the Audit Committee (2012 - 2017) of CF Industries, one of the world's largest nitrogen fertilizer manufacturers. He began his professional career as an attorney, with a New York City law firm, where he was involved with sophisticated corporate transactions and later a wide variety of complex commercial, employment, environmental and securities litigations. Mr. Kuhbach then worked for four different public companies which were primarily engaged in specialized industrial manufacturing of goods and related services on a global basis. During his business career, he served more than twenty years as a General Counsel and seven years as a Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities included financial accounting and reporting, human resource administration, including health and welfare plan design and administration, and a broad array of legal compliance matters, including taxation, government contract, environmental and labor law issues. His longest tenure was at Dover Corporation, where he was General Counsel for ten years, and then Chief Financial Officer for seven years thereafter.
Rob is currently a director of Townscape and serves on the Advisory Board of the North East Community Center. He and his wife, Sherrell Andrews, are active in a number of charitable organizations, both in Millerton and in New York City, which involve work and support for underserved "at risk" populations.
Mr. Kuhbach graduated from Yale University in 1969 with a B.A. in Economics, and received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1972.
