
A letter of intent is the first step in applying for any funds from the Foundation. Letters in response to a specific funding opportunity may need to be submitted by a specific date. Please refer to the grant guidelines for these dates. Letters of Intent for opportunity grants may be submitted at anytime. For a letter to be considered, it must not exceed 2 pages and must include a completed organization coversheet and a budget worksheet (you can download and print Application Forms here on our website, or call the office for forms).
Briefly describe your organization’s mission, history and current programs.
Briefly describe the need (or problem) being addressed:
Describe the proposed program and include project goals & objectives and list other participating agencies and/or funders. Include a timeline of activities to accomplish the project.
Describe the impact will you have, how you will know and who will do the evaluation?
Submit a budget worksheet and give an estimate of the total funds to successfully implement this project, the amount being requested from the foundation, as well as other sources of funding. Describe plans for future and long term funding of this project.
