How to Donate
As a public charity, the Foundation for Community Health (FCH) can receive donations which in turn are tax deductible according to the rules set by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Donations should be in alignment with the mission of the FCH:
The Foundation for Community Health’s mission is to maintain and improve the physical and mental health of the residents of the area historically served by Sharon Hospital with an emphasis on serving those most vulnerable.
Options for contributions include:
- The FCH Prescription Assistance Fund: Provides direct aid to individuals and families to cover prescription costs.
- The Medical Education Fund: Identifies topics and organizes medical education opportunities on a variety of health topics directly affecting FCH’s communities.
- General Fund: Supports overall efforts of the FCH to assess community health needs, to engage the public and local organizations in identifying and solving health issues, to bring expertise and information regarding evidence-based programs to the area, and to evaluate its work.
Please contact Nancy Heaton, the FCH Executive Director, by phone at (860)364-5157 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in learning more about donating to the FCH, setting up a donor fund, or leaving a legacy.
