The Foundation for Community Health is a catalyst and a leader for health promotion, disease prevention, and universal access to services that contribute to the overall health and well being of our small rural communities.

How do we do this?
The Foundation:

  • Brings people together & fosters collaborations
  • Supports the improving the capacities of local non-profits and providers
  • Conducts and shares research
  • Funds evidence-based programs and services
  • Conducts communication activities & campaigns
  • Advocates for public policy change

The Foundation’s current priority areas are mental health, oral health and access to health services with a particular interest in improving rural healthcare delivery systems.
